General Hospital predictions suspect Sonny Corinthos may escape criminal charges once again when his mental health crisis becomes public knowledge on the ABC daytime drama.
Sonny Corinthos Spiraling on General Hospital
Currently, on GH, Sonny Corinthos’ mental health is getting worse by the day. He is having manic episodes and people are starting to notice. But, he can’t understand because he’s taking his bipolar medication the way he should be.
What he does not know is that they aren’t working because they were tampered with and are mostly placebo. So he thinks he’s doing everything right but he’s spiraling out of control. Recently, Ava Jerome found out there was something wrong with his meds.
But so far, she is still keeping the truth from him. Her agenda is still a mystery on General Hospital. And it’s unclear exactly what she hopes to gain. But it seems she wants to be the most important person in Sonny’s life and the person he relies on the most.
Most likely, she does want what’s best for him. But she likely thinks she can take care of him herself. It appears that she likes the fact that he’s cut everyone else out of his life and relies solely on her. However, Sonny has more problems because his legal troubles are mounting…
Port Charles Gangs up on Sonny
Right now, on General Hospital, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) sees just about everyone as a traitor except for Ava Jerome (Maura West). He’s through with Carly Corinthos Spencer (Laura Wright), Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).
They were his main support system and the first people ready and willing to lie for him and cover for him. They would do anything to keep him out of prison. But now, he’s alienating all of them. Plus, the list of people who are sick of his criminal activity is growing.
Commissioner Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is done looking the other way. As is Mayor Laura Spencer Collins (Genie Francis). Furthermore, they want to see him finally pay for his crimes. So, they are actively trying to prosecute him on General Hospital.
Sonny could very well go down for his assault on Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) and for ordering his death. Also, his former lackey, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer), is joining the PCPD as a police officer. And Anna wants to use his knowledge of Sonny’s business against the mob boss.
So, Sonny could be in serious legal trouble soon on General Hospital. And he could face a lengthy prison sentence in Pentonville. However, he may find a way out of it again without even trying…
General Hospital Prediction: Kingpin Skates on Charges Again?
Anna and the District Attorney’s office might very well be able to build a solid case against Sonny. However, the charges might not stick because he isn’t on the proper meds, or in his right mind, the case may fall through.
Indeed, his legal eagle attorney, Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) can easily argue his case. She can claim that he was manic when committing the crimes in question and his judgment was off due to his bipolar disorder.
Of course, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) only recently messed with Sonny’s meds on General Hospital. So, he was likely still on the right dosage at the time of Cyrus’ attack. However, that can’t be proven unless Valentin admits to everything which he likely will not do.
So, there’s an extremely good chance Sonny could walk free again. However, even if he doesn’t go to prison, he might end up in Shadybrook or another mental health facility.
