Salaar Box Office Estimate Day 3: Salaar collects Rs. 51 crores in its opening weekend; Prabhas film hits Rs. 20 crores on Sunday

The Prashanth Neel-directed Salaar has scored good numbers in its opening weekend with collections in the range of Rs. 50 crores. The business was impacted by the clash with Dunki, however, the Prabhas film has done well enough to hit a half-century in 3 days. After opening at Rs. 15.50 crores on Friday, Salaar jumped to Rs. 16 crores on Saturday and Rs 20 crores on Sunday taking the total collections to Rs. 51.50 crores.

The film is doing well in the mass belts whereas the multiplexes are just about decent. For Salaar to emerge as a success in Hindi belts, it’s a must for the film to enter the Rs. 100 crore club and its hold in collections on Tuesday which will give us an idea on where the film is headed in the long run.

Salaar will be looking to take advantage of the Christmas Holiday on Monday and get closer to Rs. 70 crore number over the 4 days period. Its then going to be about the hold in the collection on the weekdays and being a mass film, Salaar could just trend well in the single screens and reach a reasonable number,

The collections are driven by the goodwill of KGF and the mass fan following of Prabhas, however, they would have been a lot better if not for the clash.
