Love During Lockup partners Savannah Moore and her inmate boyfriend Jake have different opinions this week. She feels she has discovered the perfect plan to help him increase his chances of an early release. But he is uninterested in hearing about it.
Love During Lockup: Savannah Offers Jake a Chance at Early Release
Savannah Moore of Love During Lockup is doing everything she can to help her inmate boyfriend get out of prison early. So, she seeks out the best legal counsel she can find and is told that if she and Jake were to get married, it would increase his chance of early release.
She is thrilled to hear this because she wants nothing more than to marry Jake, and she also wants him home with her as soon as possible so they can begin their lives together. Savannah can’t wait to tell him the news. But when he calls her, and she tells him what the lawyer said, he shuts her down immediately. He tells her he doesn’t want to discuss marriage right now.

The Love During Lockup cast member finds his attitude confusing. She felt confident that Jake would be all for anything idea that helped him get out of prison.
Savannah tries to explain that with her and his family, showing their full support that his chances are excellent. She wants to stop by and see his family members share the good news. However, Jake shuts her down once again. This makes her suspicious.
Jake is not interested in Talking about Marriage
When Savannah Moore attempts to bring up the marriage proposal idea again, Jake gets snappy with her. No matter how she words it, he is not into it. He tells her he feels she is trying to use his prison situation just so they can marry.

She adds that the lawyer has encouraged her to meet with his family for help with his commutation. Jake of Love During Lockup says he is against her meeting with his family. This is a red flag because now she thinks Jake and his family are hiding something from her.
She also finds it odd that he would prefer that instead of wanting to follow the lawyer’s advice. She meets with his friend Timmy. He tells her that his buddy is on board to help and do anything necessary to help him. Savannah agrees to Jake’s request but feels uneasy and wonders why he is against the meeting.
Love During Lockup: Savannah Feels Ambushed
During a later phone call, Savannah learns that Jake’s mom may have something to do with her Love During Lockup inmate boyfriend’s cold attitude about marriage. She says she found out that Jake’s mom was recently at a bar listening to the band play. She discovered after the show that the band members knew Savannah.
The band member told Jake’s mom that he had met Savannah Moore previously on Tinder, and the two of them had hooked up. Jake’s mom continued questioning the band member about his relationship with Savannah and asking when they last hooked up. He told her a date, which happened to be when Savannah and Jake were together.

This is disturbing news for Savannah Moore. Now she feels Jake’s mom is moving to turn Jake against her and sabotage their relationship. Savannah is unsure how to proceed with her. She needs to square things with Jake before his mom completely ruins all of the Love During Lockup couple’s plans. But from the sound of things, it could be too late.
