As the Anil Sharma directorial continues to captivate audiences and rake in impressive box office numbers, Bollywood has finally seen the return of blockbusters to the big screen. Now, after its fourth weekend running, the business of the film has seen hardly any decline.
In this box office report, we look at the fourth weekend collections of Gadar 2 while comparing the same to previous releases of 2023. Not surprisingly, given the hype and craze surrounding Gadar 2 the business of the film has managed to surpass the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan that collected Rs. 9.82 cr to emerge as the highest fourth weekend grosser of 2023. Collecting a staggering Rs. 18.72 cr on its fourth weekend Gadar 2 has managed to eclipse the collections of previous releases like The Kerala Story, which collected Rs. 11.50 cr, Zara Hatke Zara Bachke which collected Rs. 6.48 cr, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani which collected Rs. 5.13 cr, and Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar which had collected Rs. 3.47 cr.
Going forwards, the business of Gadar 2 is expected to maintain momentum till the release of the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan. However, early trade predictions state that the overall business of Gadar 2 is likely to near the Rs. 525 cr mark by the end of the week.
