Disha Patani, who has been a part of the industry for quite some time now, is not just a popular actress but also has a lot of fan following on social media. Fans across the nation are always eager to see her come up on the screen with different kinds of roles, since the actress also has an interesting lineup of projects which she is eagerly looking forward to. While her films are in the pipeline for release this year, the actress is also discussed about her keen interest on OTT platforms.
Many of her contemporaries are not only exploring the platform but also thriving there. Disha Patani, however, has stayed away from it and recently she decided to open further about the reason she has been staying away from it. Sharing her views on OTT, Disha said, “I have some diverse projects lined up for the coming year,” she says. Further explaining about how she has been aware of the success the platform has tasted, Disha added, “Today OTT is booming, and if the right script and project comes my way, why not? Be it films, OTT, stage performances, or music videos. I have never made that distinction. I have equal respect for all.”
On the work front, Disha Patani has Welcome To The Jungle which features an extensive ensemble cast of 24 actors including the likes of Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi, Lara Dutta, Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal, among others. The film marks the third instalment of the comedy franchise Welcome. Going further, the actress also has the much-awaited Yodha, under the banner of Dharma Productions, which stars Sidharth Malhotra as the leading man along with Raashii Khanna in a pivotal role. Apart from these, Disha will also be making her South debut with Deepika Padukone, Prabhas starrer Kalki 2898 AD and the Suriya, Bobby Deol starrer Kanguva which is expected to release in as many as 30 languages.
