Bold and the Beautiful had Taylor Hayes missing in action recently, which peeved many fans of the CBS soap after Krista Allen brought such a spark to the screen. But even when she’s in a storyline, they seem to pull the plug on the Doc just as the plot starts to get juicy. Now it looks like her latest return is short-lived as B&B already dropped hints about what’s going on with her next.
Bold and the Beautiful Plays Game of Give & Take with Taylor Hayes
Krista Allen had her work cut out for her when she first hit the screen as Taylor Hayes. She had some huge shoes to fill stepping into a role that Hunter Tylo made famous. At that time, to many of the B&B fans, Hunter would always be Taylor Hayes.
But, Krista as Taylor became a much-liked Bold and the Beautiful character after playing the role for a little while. So today, many fans believe B&B hit pay dirt with the new Taylor replacement.
This makes it even more confusing for the viewers of the soap. The new Taylor is so well-liked, yet they either topple her storyline or have her missing in action. Sometimes she’s yanked off the screen without so much as an explanation. So, what does the soap plan to do next with the popular Doc?
B&B Spoilers: Taylor Hayes’ Abrupt Stops
When the CBS soap gives Taylor Hayes an interesting plot, they seem to just take it away. For a while on Bold and the Beautiful, it looked like Taylor was about to reform Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown).
Well, not only reform her but befriend her as well. That fell to pieces when she found out it was just a ploy on the ex-con’s part.
Then of course she had Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) so desperate to make her his wife again that he followed her to Colorado. But that became a bust when on her wedding day she found out another ploy brought them together.
This time the dirty deed came from her son, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson). Bold and the Beautiful also started a storyline for her and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang).
The viewers liked seeing Brooke and her rival as best friends. But their love for Ridge got in the way again. Now they are back to square one, despising each other.
B&B Hide & Seek for Taylor
So, Taylor lost a groom and two friends and if that’s not bad enough, now she goes missing for long periods of time. While Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) raised havoc for her daughter, Taylor was nowhere to be found.
As Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) went to the court proceedings for Sheila, her mother was missing. Fans wanted to know why. But nothing at all was said on the soap.
After a few months, Taylor comes in on a whirlwind attempting to save the day at the Forrester mansion. Her daughter moved in with her grandfather and Taylor wasn’t too keen on her leaving her husband.
This is when Bold and the Beautiful spoilers finally learn where she’s been. Steffy tells her she didn’t have to come home from her conference for this.
So, are fans supposed to believe she attended one of the longest conferences on record? After all, she was gone for many weeks. But after several lines on the screen, she was gone again. This time she planned to meet Steffy in Europe.
Taylor Hayes returned last week and this week she’s already hinting she’s headed back to Italy to be with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and her grandchildren.
So, it looks like the Doc is soon off, if not already, for another hiatus on B&B. This move will undoubtedly peeve fans. They’ve had enough of this hide-and-seek with Taylor Hayes from the CBS soap.
