The 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way couple opens a shop in front of their house. It is a little grocery store where they sell snacks.

Mary came up with the idea because her grandmother had a store when she was little. She explains that they are “very common.” And that their clients are usually kids who walk by the school.

However, the 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way cast member reveals that she had to borrow money from her friends to build the shop and inventory. So, there is a lot of pressure on them to make the money back to pay off their loans.

Brandan says their shopping trip cost them 470 pesos, which is $8.60. She thinks they can sell everything for 500 pesos, which is $9.16. So, they are only making a 56-cent profit.

The TLC celeb doesn’t think they can sell it for a higher price. She explains that there are other stores near them that people will go to if it is cheaper there. So, these people won’t go to their store if it is expensive.

90 Day Fiance: The Other Way Couple Not Making Enough Cash

Brandan De Nuccio tells Mary Rosa that the reason they built the store was so it could pay their bills and for necessities. He asks her how much she thinks they make per month. She believes it’s around 1000 pesos, which is $18. He then asks her how much debt they are in. She says 60,000 pesos, which is $1,098.

The 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way castmate asks her what they can do to make more profit. She tells him that he has to wake up early and help her attend to the store. She explains that if no one is there to serve people, they will just leave.

Brandan explains that he doesn’t work because he doesn’t speak the language. So, it is hard for him to understand the customers. So, he needs Mary there to help him.

Many fans feel that Brandan and Mary’s business is a bust. One person thinks they “didn’t put any thought into it.” Another person says it will take them years to repay the loan. A person even believes the store will be a “slow-motion train wreck.”
