Young and the Restless Comings and Goings: Esther Valentine Back in Genoa City
Y&R comings and goings, see legacy character Esther Valentine (Kate Linder) on-screen soon. Longtime fans will recall that Esther has been on the soap for 40 years. And she’s the mother of Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson).
Coming up, they share scenes where Chloe is encouraging Esther about something. So, the Young and the Restless vet may have some juicy drama coming up soon. Hopefully, she sticks around for a while.
Also, another longtime character Michael Baldwin (Christian Le Blanc), remains offscreen. He’s only on reoccurring status, which is disappointing because he’s a joy to have around.
Currently, he’s overseas dealing with Gloria Abbott‘s (Judith Chapman) legal issues. Hopefully, he’ll return soon for his wife, Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman), and their best friend, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).
Speaking of Phyllis, there have been rumors that the actress is leaving Young and the Restless. However, those are false rumors, and she is staying put on the sudser.
Y&R Casting News: Heather & Lucy Out
More Young and the Restless casting updates tell us Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) and her daughter, Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant), will be heading out of GC soon. Heather is just about done representing Phyllis.
So, her work in GC is done for now. And Lucy, the daughter she shares with Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei), will be going with her. No doubt, they’ll return again someday in the near future.
Young and the Restless Casting Updates: Kyle Back – Chelsea Out
Also, Kyle Abbott just resurfaced on Y&R now that Michael Mealor is back from his honeymoon with his new bride. Michael and his wife married in March, but they recently honeymooned in Italy.
Now, Kyle is on the scene again with plenty of drama ahead. He’s still going strong with his current fling, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver). And he’s helping her get out from under Adam Newman‘s (Mark Grossman) thumb.
Additionally, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will exit Young and the Restless temporarily for maternity leave soon. She recently gave birth to her second son.
