There is no stopping for all the love and recognition coming towards the Vidhu Vinod Chopra film 12th Fail starring Vikrant Massey and Medha Shankr. Adding to the rave reviews and immense appreciation the film received, now the biopic on IPS officer Manoj Kumar Sharma, has won the Best Film award at 9th edition of the Toulouse Indian Film Festival after being nominated amongst fifteen other films from all languages across India.
The award was received by Yogesh Ishwar Dhabuwala, the co-producer of the film who stated that 12th Fail is an honest film made with all the right intentions and emotions as the audience take a meaningful message with them back home. With the film recently completing 25 weeks in theatres, it is also all set to release in China. Sharing his excitement about the film releasing in China, Vidhu Vinod Chopra had said in a statement earlier, “As a filmmaker, I believe storytelling transcends borders. Bringing 12th Fail to China is not just about reaching a new audience, but about sharing universal human experiences that resonate regardless of geography. 12th Fail is based on a story of honest people, and I am sure that people everywhere will relate to the struggles and perseverance of the characters. I’m excited to see how Chinese audiences connect with it.”

Speaking of the film,12th Fail tells the story of ordinary individuals navigating life’s challenges with courage and resilience. The film, which also stars Anant Joshi, Anshumaan Pushkar, Priyanshu Chatterjee, Sarita Joshi, released in theatres on October 27 last year.
Vinod Chopra films is all set to release a film called Zero Se Restart which is the making or rather the behind the scenes of this Vikrant Massey and Medha Shankr film and it is going to release worldwide on the July 19.
