Taapsee Pannu and Kanika Dhillon share a special post as Manmarziyaan completes 5 years

On September 14 2018, the audience witnessed the release of Manmarziyaan, an unconventional love triangle that won the hearts of many. Now half a decade later, as we celebrate five years of this remarkable film which brought together Taapsee Pannu with Abhishek Bachchan and Vicky Kaushal, the actress and the writer Kanika Dhillon decided to share a special post in memory of the film.

Taapsee Pannu and writer Kanika Dhillon took on their social media to express their happiness about the fifth anniversary and their association. Sharing some photos of the two of them bonding, they wrote in the caption, “Wow, it’s been an amazing five years since #Manmarziyaan! ?? Directed by Anurag Kashyap, Manmarziyaan was applauded for its unorthodox storyline, remarkable performances and breakthrough writing. The film featured Taapsee Pannu as a quintessential Punjabi girl Rumi who is in love with struggling singer Vicky aka Vicky Kaushal but in a twist of events, gets married to Robbie Bhatia aka Abhishek Bachchan. The actor-writer duo’s collaboration continued post Manmarziyaan with films like Rashmi Rocket, Haseen Dilruba and the upcoming Haseen Dilruba 2 as well as Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dunki.

Other future protects of Taapsee Pannu include Woh Ladki Hai Kahaan, whereas Kanika Dhillon turned producer with Do Patti starring Kajol and Kriti Sanon under her production house Kathha Pictures.
