Zee TV’s Pyaar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan, a mature romantic drama based in modern-day Vrindavan, has been trying to entertain audiences with its engaging twists and turns With Shabir Ahluwalia and Neeharika Roy essaying the leads Mohan and Radha as well as Sambhabana Mohanty playing antagonist Damini, the show has introduced some edge of their seat turning points and one such point recently was when Mohan’s body was possessed by his deceased wife Tulsi played by Kirti Nagpure.

The soul of Tulsi has been on a hunt to find the person who killed her and time and again she has taken the help of Radha to give justice to her and her family. In these sequences where he is possessed by his ex-wife’s soul, Mohan is seen undergoing changes like his voice gradually changes, his eyes turn bloodshot, his fingers have nail paint on and all of this has left Radha and the family members completely perplexed.

Meanwhile, Shabir left no stone unturn to give his best as Mohini and underwent extensive prep to play this role. The viewers were further in for a visual treat when they saw him dancing on ‘Mere Dholna’ from Bhool Bhulaiyaa in a Bengali-style draped saree and jewellery as a final leg towards getting Damini to confess her crime. Speaking about this performance, Shabir Ahluwalia revealed, “Shooting an elaborate dance sequence in a saree was definitely very challenging for me. This is an iconic song and we didn’t want to parody it at any cost, the dance sequence was written as a dramatic device to get Damini to confess her crime. Even I didn’t know I could pull off something like this until I saw myself. It was a great experience for me, and I am glad that this track was loved by the audience as well.”

While the crimes Damini has committed has come to the forefront, it is yet to be seen what the upcoming episodes of Pyaar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan has in store for audience. The show airs every day at 8:00 PM, only on Zee TV!
