“Ranbir Kapoor never comes late on Animal sets,” says Sandeep Reddy Vanga

Ranbir Kapoor is set to deliver the highest opening day collection of his career with Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s action-packed crime drama Animal. The film has already sold over 2 lakh tickets for day one.

Ahead of the release, director Sandeep Reddy Vanga heaped praise on Ranbir Kapoor’s dedication and punctuality on the sets of Animal. In an interview with iDream Media, Vanga asserted, “Ranbir Kapoor never comes late on Animal sets. Sometimes I came late to sets, but Ranbir never came late. Ranbir is a very passionate and dedicated actor.”

Vanga’s admiration for Kapoor’s work ethic extends beyond his professionalism. The director expressed deep reverence for Kapoor’s acting talent, stating, “Ranbir might be younger to me, but when I see him performing, I feel like touching his feet and taking his blessings. I haven’t seen anyone with so much patience.”

Despite the film’s challenging runtime of over three hours, Vanga is confident that Kapoor’s compelling performance will captivate the audience throughout. However, Vanga stated that Kapoor’s acting prowess ensures an engaging and enthralling cinematic experience, even with the extended runtime. With that being said, it is worth mentioning here that during the trailer launch, Ranbir confessed that they wrapped shooting for Animal in 100 days, which according to him was quite “quick.”

Animal, scheduled for a December 1 release, features a star-studded ensemble cast including Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Rashmika Mandanna in pivotal roles. The film faces a box office clash with the Vicky Kaushal-led Sam Bahadur.
