Nelson Dilipkumar expresses gratitude towards Rajinikanth, Tamannaah Bhatia, among others after the grand success of Jailer

The past few months have been a great time for Indian Cinema which saw the grand success of several movies like Gadar 2, Jailer, and now Jawan. As films continue to receive love from audience, the team of Jailer too got not just appreciation but they were also showered with gifts for the grand success of the film from the producers.

And now, filmmaker Nelson Dilipkumar has decided to pen a heartfelt note for each member of this team which not only includes leading man Rajinikanth but also other actors like Tamannaah Bhatia, Jackie Shroff, Shiva Rajkumar, Ramya Krishnan, among others who have been an integral part of the film.

Taking to social media, Nelson Dilipkumar penned a long note, expressing his gratitude towards each member of the team. He started the note saying ‘Thank You’ as he continued, “I take this moment to express my heartfelt gratitude and sincere thanks to everyone involved in making Jailer a massive success. I would like to start by thanking the press and media for your constant love and support. I would also like to extend my thanks to all the distributors and exhibitors of Jailer. Thank you Ramya Krishnan mam, Sunil Varma sir, Nagendra Babu sir, Kishore Kumar sir, Vinayakan chetta, Vasanth Ravi, Yogi Babu, VTV Ganesh, Redin Kingsley and all the other cast members. It was indeed a great pleasure working with you all.”

Further talking about the technical team, he added, “Expressing my thanks to Cinematographer Vijay Karthik Kannan, Art Director Kiran, Editor Nirmal, Stunt Director Stun Siva, Costume Designer Pallavi Singh, Choreographer Jani Master, Lyricists Vignesh Shivan, Arunraja Kamaraj, Super Subu, Sound Designers Suren and Alagiakoothan, VFX Supervisor Ajay, Publicity designer Kabilan, Lyrical video Venky, Executive Producer Raja Sridhar, Production Controller D Ramesh Kuchirayar, my Direction Team and my entire Crew. You were the supporting pillars of Jailer.”

He went on to appreciate the rest, “Tamannaah ji I feel so humbled by your magnanimity in accepting the role. We had a wonderful time working with you. Mohanlal sir, Shiva Rajkumar sir, Jackie Shroff sir I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your presence has elevated Jailer to greater heights. Rockstar Anirudh, you have always given me your love and unwavering support. Your music is the soul of Jailer. Thank you so much. Keep rocking and keep inspiring!! None of this would not have been possible if not for Mr Kalanithi Maaran, Ms Kaavya Maaran, Sun Pictures. Thank you for your trust and support. I would also like to extend my sincere thanks to Mr Kannan and Mr Sembiyan and the entire Sun Pictures team.”

He concluded the note with a sweet message for the megastar, “Superstar Rajinikanth sir thank you so much for the opportunity. Your energy, commitment, dedication, passion, simplicity and humbleness have always been a learning experience for me and the whole crew. Your phenomena has pushed boundaries, broken records and made Jailer a tremendous success. I shall cherish this to be one of the most treasured experiences of my life.”

And of course, last but not the least, the note eventually ended as he reciprocated the love he received, “Finally, to all the fans & audience, Jailer wouldn’t have become what it is, if not for you all. Your positive word of mouth has been instrumental in Jailer’s historic success in all the four South Indian languages and overseas. The overwhelming response and the electrifying atmosphere that you created inside the theatres will be etched in my memory forever. Ever grateful to you for it. Thank you for your unconditional love and support.”
