Mr. International India 2017 Darasing Khurana shares his plans to tackle mental health issues with Queen Camilla of the UK

After making his name in the modelling world, Mr. International India 2017 Darasing Khurana, who has been dabbling in the Indian film industry amongst different languages, is also a popular philanthropist. He is known for working in areas of blood cancer and mental health. Recently, the model-turned-actor was appointed as the Commonwealth Year of Youth Champion, making him the first Asian to be at this post. As he attended the Commonwealth Day reception in London and got the opportunity to meet Her Majesty Queen Camilla.

Darasing was keen on showcasing his Indian roots and opted for a Shantanu and Nikhil ethnic ensemble and even greeted the Queen in a traditional manner with a warm Namaste. Further, he indulged in a conversation with the Queen where he shared his insights on some poignant issues. He told her that his observations have found that the patience and concentration levels in the younger population is drastically dropping while their anxiety levels are at an all-time high.

Khurana also pointed out that one of the main reasons for this is the excessive use of electronics and social media. To tackle this, he even proposed a solution which includes making a balanced plan a part of the education system in all the 56 Commonwealth countries that will help save the future of tomorrow.

While the conversation had some really important topics, Darasing finished it on a lighter note as he mentioned to her how the timing of her birth was around the same time India gained its independence from the British.
