In fact, Sushrii has spent some years doing theatre to hone her skills as an actor. Speaking of how she bagged the role in Ruslaan, we hear that what truly made her stand out during the audition was her extensive training in martial arts, including MMA. It seems that the filmmakers set out to find a leading lady who could seamlessly embody the action-packed sequences of the film and they needed someone with more than just on-screen presence which was a performer with genuine skill and training.
