Renowned filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar recently shared a heartwarming update about veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty, who was hospitalized due to chest pain and weakness. Despite his health concerns, Mithun Chakraborty seemed to be in good spirits as Madhur Bhandarkar paid him a friendly visit on the sets of the film Shastri in Kolkata.
Madhur Bhandarkar took to Instagram to share a glimpse of his visit with fans. In the video, Madhur can be seen chatting amicably with Mithun Chakraborty, expressing his joy at being on the sets of Shastri with the veteran actor. Madhur began the video by introducing the setting and announcing his presence alongside Mithun Chakraborty.
Despite his recent health scare, Mithun Chakraborty appeared to be in a healthy state. Speaking fondly about their long-standing association, Mithun reminisced about knowing Madhur since his younger days when Madhur used to sell video cassettes. Mithun humorously recalled how his wife would often call Madhur to procure specific cassettes, highlighting the humble beginnings of their friendship.
Reflecting on Madhur Bhandarkar’s journey from selling cassettes to becoming a five-time National Award winner, Mithun emphasized the importance of dreams coming true. He encouraged everyone to pursue their dreams ardently, emphasizing that dreams should indeed be realized, regardless of the challenges one might face along the way.

Chakraborty’s health scare began on February 10 when he was admitted to the hospital with severe chest pain. Following an examination by senior medical professionals, Chakraborty expressed optimism about his health, emphasizing the need to regulate his eating habits.
