Chelsea Gilliam and Mike Harmon are excited about their future together. During the previous episode of Love After Lockup, Chelsea arrived in La Grange, Kentucky, to pick him up. The night before his release, she calls her best friend Beth and chats about her excitement.
During her confessional, she says that she can’t wait for his release. She is eager for him to meet her children and hopes he will make a good father figure for them. She adds it is important they like Mike because they are her top priority.
On her way to the prison for Michael Harmon’s release, she admits she is nervous and didn’t sleep well. Chelsea says her past relationships have been abusive, so she is worried. She admits that she has yet to talk about her past with him. The Love During Lockup inmate finally arrives at the pickup destination. They are both very emotional when they see each other.
During their trip home, Mike shows her his ring. She puts it on her thumb, and he tells her to keep calling it his promise ring. He wants her to know how much she means to him. He also vows to stand by her, calling her his ride or die.

The Love After Lockup pair looked like they were headed for a happy relationship. Even though Mike Harmen has a lot to learn about his girlfriend’s past. She needs to take things slow. So far in this season, he appears willing to comply with her wants and needs.

It appears that the Love After Lockup couple are no longer together. But that could change. If they have split up, it also seems as if Mike Harmon’s social media pages may have spoiled the season for WEtv fans.
