Actor-comedian Krushna Abhishek has expressed his desire to patch things up with his estranged uncle, Bollywood star Govinda, ahead of his sister Arti Singh’s upcoming wedding. Despite past disagreements, Krushna emphasized his intention to include Govinda in the joyous occasion.
“Of course, the first invite will go to him,” Krushna declared in a recent interview with DNA India. “He’s my mama (uncle),” he acknowledged, “We’ve had some disagreements, but that’s a separate issue. He will definitely attend the wedding.”
This statement follows Krushna’s attempt to mend fences in October 2023. He shared a throwback video of himself dancing with Govinda, expressing his desire to resolve the long-standing conflict. “There can’t be a better video than this,” he captioned the post, calling Govinda an inspiration.

The public disagreement between Govinda and Krushna Abhishek began in 2016, stemming from Govinda’s promotional choices for his film Jagga Jasoos. While promoting the film on Krushna’s rival show, The Kapil Sharma Show, Krushna expressed disappointment over the decision.
Further friction arose when Krushna remarked on a separate show, stating, “Govinda ko mama rakha hai (Have kept Govinda as my uncle).” This comment reportedly upset Govinda, leading to a tense confrontation between the two.
