Kriti Sanon opens up about being underconfident during her initial days of struggle on No Filter Neha Season 6; says, “I had come back crying after my first photoshoot”

The sixth season of No Filter Neha on video, hosted Neha Dhupia promises to be bigger, bolder, candid and the celebrity to appear on the show recently is National award-winning actress Kriti Sanon. Coming from a non-filmy background, this actress once aspired to be an engineer but the acting bug which bit her during her modelling days, pushed her to take up Heropanti (2014) with Tiger Shroff and the rest is history! However, the actress is no stranger to rejection and opened up about her initial days of struggle on the chat show.

Giving audiences a peek into her personal life, Kriti Sanon recalled how she cried her heart out after her first photoshoot. She said, “My mom was very concerned as I was a very shy kid. My first Photoshoot, my first ramp show I have come back crying. I messed up the choreography in front of 50 models. I came back crying after my first photoshoot because I was extremely nervous. I could sense that I was not doing a good job and I sat in the auto, and I came back crying. I was like, ‘Mom I don’t think I can do this’ and her point was that people in this industry are very thick skinned.”

While her mother decided to advise her about staying strong and taking inspiration from actresses, Kriti confessed that over the years she has taught herself to be stronger and more confident. “My mother used to give me examples of Priyanka Chopra, look at how confident they are. Maybe you can’t do this, it is not for you and somewhere over the time I have taught myself confidence,” she added.
