Can Katrina Kaif speak Turkish? That’s the question swirling around social media after a viral video surfaced showing the Bollywood star seemingly conversing fluently in the language. But hold onto your turbans, folks, because this linguistic feat is not what it appears!
The video, originally shared by a Katrina Kaif fan page on Instagram, features a clip from an old interview with Hrithik Roshan, presumably during their Bang Bang promotions in 2014. However, Katrina’s voice has been magically transformed to deliver Turkish sentences, while Hrithik nods sagely in agreement.
The caption readily admits the magic behind this performance: “This would have happened if you spoke Turkish… NOTE: This video was prepared with artificial intelligence!”
Despite the disclaimer, fans were initially fooled. Comments like “OMG… sounds just like her real voice!” and “I thought Katrina was speaking Turkish for the first time… her voice is not too different here, resembles her real voice!” flooded the post.

Speaking of Kaif, she recently graced the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya, radiating elegance in a gold silk saree. The event was attended by several other Bollywood stars such as Kangana Ranaut, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Madhuri Dixit, among others.
