Kareena Kapoor Khan proudly declares, “Bronze is the new gold” as son Taimur wins Medal

Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan is a proud mother as her son Taimur, lovingly known as Tim, secured a bronze medal at his school’s sports meet. The Bollywood actress took to her Instagram story to share the news and bask in the glory of her son’s achievement.

In a series of Instagram stories, Kareena Kapoor clicked picture alongside friend Karan Johar as they join the non-runners’ club. Captioning the photo, she wrote, “The non runners but still winners.” In another story, Kareena Kapoor proudly donned Taimur’s bronze medal, emphasizing her role as a supportive mom. In a candid note accompanying the photo, she stated, “Yes, I’m the mother who wears his medals. #proud Hysterical Mom. # Bronze is the new gold. Mera Beta/ Anyone else do that?”

Further sharing a reel on Instagram, Kareena engaged in an exchange with Karan Johar. When asked if she won a medal, Kareena replied, “Tim did.” Karan inquires about the nature of the medal, to which Kareena confidently declared, “Bronze.” Karan commented on the significance of bronze, and Kareena, asserted, “Bronze is the new gold.”

Coming to the professional front, Kareena was last seen in Laal Singh Chaddha, starring Aamir Khan and released in 2022. Later, in the year 2023, she made her OTT debut with Sujoy Ghosh’s Jaane Jaan, a Netflix original film. Speaking of her upcoming big screen releases, she will be next seen in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again, opposite Ajay Devgn. Besides this, she has a bunch of films in her kitty including The Crew, in which she will be sharing the screen space with Tabu and Kriti Sanon.
