Jawan Box Office: Shah Rukh Khan starrer becomes highest all-time 4th weekend grosser

It has been close to a month since Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan released in theatres on September 7 and the film continues to attract viewers in cinema halls in large numbers. The action entertainer, which is directed by Atlee, entered the Rs. 500 Crores Club last month itself. And just yesterday, it became the first Bollywood movie to go past Rs. 600 crores and that too in less than a month’s time.

If this wasn’t enough, the movie has another record to its name. It has now become the highest 4th weekend grosser of all time by earning Rs. 22.89 crores in that period. By doing this, it has overtaken heavyweights like Gadar 2, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion and KGF Chapter 2. Out of these films, Gadar 2 released less than two months ago and went onto go past the Rs. 500 crores mark.

The first position in the list was earlier maintained by the Vicky Kaushal starrer surprise blockbuster Uri: The Surgical Strike with Rs. 18.94 crores. The film, based on India’s surgical strike, continued to earn well even in its fourth week and went onto finish at a staggering Rs. 245.36 crores.

Coming back to Jawan, the movie is produced under SRK’s banner Red Chillies Entertainment and it also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, Ridhi Dogra, Deepika Padukone, among others.
