Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 is already turning out to be an All Time Blockbuster as according to early estimates, the film has collected in the range of Rs. 35.75 to 37 crores on its fourth day. With this, the four-day total collection of Gadar 2 stands at approximately Rs. 172 crore and the movie is now all geared up to enter the Rs. 200 crore club on Independence Day. The Monday collections of Gadar 2 are likely to be All Time second or third highest after Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion.
Gadar 2 has shown literally a zero drop in footfalls front on Monday, and the nominal 5% dip from Friday has come only due to the drop in ticket rates at select centers. The three national multiplex chains [PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis] chains are neck to neck with the business on Friday, and the same is the case at most of the non-national chains too. In fact, some properties are also showing a jump in business.
Gadar 2 is now an unstoppable force at the box office and it can go anywhere in the long run. It has been accepted with open hearts by the Indian Audience, and when such euphoria arrives at the box office, a film can scale any heights in the long run. Gadar 2 is a sequel to the 2001 cult Gadar and is headed to become as big a blockbuster as the first part.
The costs are controlled which means juggernaut profits for Zee Studios by the end of the run.
