Dukaan song ‘Rang Maar Di Holi Hai’: Monika Panwar steals the show in one-shot Holi song, watch

The makers of the highly anticipated film Dukaan, which delves into the topic of surrogacy, have unveiled a peppy Holi song titled ‘Rang Maar De Holi Hai.’ What makes this Holi number truly remarkable is that the entire song was filmed in a single uninterrupted take, a feat never before attempted in films for a vibrant Holi celebration song, known for its splashes of colour and water.

Renowned playback singer Sunidhi Chauhan revealed the same information in a video yesterday. The song is sung by Sunidhi Chauhan, Vishal Dadlani and Bhoomi Trivedi. Composed by the acclaimed musician Shreyas Puranik, known for his previous work on the song ‘Satranga,’ ‘Rang Maar De Holi Hai’ is set to captivate audiences with its vibrant melodies and infectious energy.

Adding to the song’s allure are the award-winning choreographers Samir and Arsh Tanna, who have choreographed the captivating dance sequence. Their expertise and creativity elevate the song to new heights, setting a benchmark for choreography in Indian cinema. Behind the scenes, the talented duo Siddharth and Garima, known for their stellar work as screenwriters and lyricists, have lent their creative vision to ‘Rang Maar De Holi Hai.’ The film marks the directorial debut of the duo.

Reflecting on their innovative approach, Siddharth and Garima expressed, “We aimed to capture the essence of Holi in a single unbroken shot, weaving together emotions and colours seamlessly, to offer a truly immersive experience for the audience. We hope this becomes the new Holi anthem this season.”

Produced by A Jhunjhunwala, SK Ahluwalia, Siddharth, and Garima, under the banners Waveband Productions and Kalamkaar Pictures Production; the film, slated for theatrical release on April 5, stars Monika Pawar, Sikander Kher, Monali Thakur, Soham Majumdar, Himani Shivpuri, and others. As the festival of Holi draws near, ‘Rang Maar De Holi Hai’ promises to encapsulate the magic and vibrancy of the celebration with its colourful and energetic rendition, all captured seamlessly in a single take.
