Then, Nicole Walker’s daughter, Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis), takes tainted pills at the Days of our Lives NYE party. Now, Nicole and EJ DiMera’s teen lies fighting for her life in a hospital bed. And this whole time, EJ has been supportive of Nicole and her fragile mental health. However, he can’t help but feel a little bit jealous. Why? Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) comforts his ex-wife.
Of course, it’s only natural that Eric would want to support Nicole through Holly’s ordeal. After all, EJ’s rival did raise her as his own for a while on DOOL. But while EJ DiMera’s waging war against innocent Tate Black (Jamie Martin Mann), Nicole Walker never leaves Holly’s side. And when the DA mentions Eric’s presence to top cop Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering), he tells EJ just to be with Nicole. Yet, he’s more concerned at the moment with making someone pay for Holly’s overdose.
