Cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal’s wife Dhanashree Verma reacts to trolls over her viral photo with Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa choreographer Pratik Utekar; says, “It has affected my family”

Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11 contestant Dhanashree Verma caused a major uproar on social media after sharing a photo with her choreographer Pratik Utekar, who was her dance partner on the reality show. The celebrity contestant, who is also the wife of cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal, found herself at the receiving end of trolls over a photo of Pratik hugging her which went viral on the platform. Reacting to the same, Dharmendra shared a video of how these trolls have impacted her and the ones who are close to her.

Dhanashree Verma shared the video on her Instagram handle with the caption, “Be kind and spread love” and ended it with a white heart, representing peace. In the clip, she opened up about how these trolls impacted her as she said, “It’s that simple to ask and be a human first, then to put forward certain verdicts or opinions.”

She continued, “I have never in my life been affected by trolls or memes because definitely had a lot of maturity in ignoring or laughing it out loud until this very recent troll occurred. The reason it has affected me this time is because it has affected my family and my near and dear ones. Since you all have the freedom on social media platforms to speak your heart and characters out, that you tend to forget or choose to ignore the sentiments of us and our families. This led to the decision of me taking a detox from social media and trust me, it was very peaceful.”

Further speaking about how she didn’t want to give that much power to social media, Dhanashree added, “Social media is a part of my work which is why I decided to return to Instagram”.

“Just requesting you guys to be little more sensitive and focus on our talent and skill because at the end of the day guys we are all here on this medium just to entertain you guys. So just don’t forget I’m also just a woman, just like your mother, your sister, your friend, your wife. And this is not done. It’s not fair. So guys, please, you know, I am known as a fighter and I never give up,” she concluded. She went on to request them to not spread such negativity and hate but to be supportive and stay peaceful.
