The female-centric comedy drama Crew unveiled its highly-anticipated trailer on March 16, Saturday in a fun event in Mumbai. The entire team of the film including actresses Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon expressed their pride and happiness as the film is coming together and during the event they also had some fun revelations and anecdotes to share about their experience of shooting with each other. During the same, Kriti expressed her desire to shoot ‘Naina’ song together but mentioned that their dates couldn’t be matched.
In the Q&A session which was held after the trailer launch of Crew, Kriti Sanon opened up about shooting for the song ‘Naina’ and expressed her happiness about having singers like Diljit Dosanjh and Badshah collaborating for the first time. In the same breath, she added, “We had a lot of fun but I wish we all had gotten to shoot it together. But 3 ladkiyon ke dates match karna bahut mushkil hota hai (It is challenge to get three women match their dates).” When she was interrupted by the host adding, “Especially three female superstars,” Kriti disagreed and shared, “I feel, actresses in general”.
She further went on to gush about the fun they had while shooting the song ‘Ghagra’ which is a remake of the Ila Arun song which is a cult chartbuster from the 90s. “‘Ghagra’ was fun and you can see the fun that we have had. We didn’t even know that we were going to shoot for the song. Also, it is like a part of the film, where there is chunk where you can see us having that fun.”

Crew, directed by Rajesh Krishnan, is produced by Ektaa R Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor under the banners Balaji Motion Pictures and Anil Kapoor Films and Communication Network. The film, also starring Diljit Dosanjh and Kapil Sharma in key roles, is slated for release on March 29.
