Crew actress Trupti Khamkar ‘wants to be like Diljit Dosanjh’; says, “You look into his eyes, and you see that purity of a soul”

The female-centric heist comedy Crew starring Tabu, Kareena Kapoor, Kriti, Sanon, and Diljit Dosanjh has opened to a great response in theatres and has been receiving much appreciation from audiences and critics alike along with the Bollywood fraternity. Trupti Khamkar, who essayed the role of a cop in the movie, opened up about shooting with the massive star cast and even expressed her fondness for Diljit who plays a key role in the recently released Rajesh Krishnan directorial.

For the unversed, Trupti plays the role of an investigating officer alongside actor, Diljit Dosanjh in the recently released Crew. Speaking about her co-star Trupti stated, “There is something beyond his performance and beyond what he does as an actor, comedian or a singer. There something in his eyes, you look into his eyes, and you see that purity of a soul and he connects with you on a very deep level as a human being and I wish I could be as pure as he is and so modest and so down-to-earth in spite of being who he is I would like to be like him and this is coming straight from my heart.” Diljit Dosanjh recently made India proud by becoming the first Indian artist to have performed at Coachella. Apart from being a popular actor and superstar in regional cinema, the actor is also a renowned global rockstar, known for his Punjabi music and songs.

On the other hand, Trupti Khamkar is known for her performances in movies like Govinda Naam Mera, Tumhari Sulu, among others. In the slate of her upcoming films, Trupti is expected to feature in a key role in Taapsee Pannu, Vikrant Massey starrer Netflix film Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba.
