Filmmaker Boney Kapoor has sparked online discussions after revealing he underwent a hair transplant surgery at the age of 68. In a surprising and candid move, Kapoor shared a video on social media documenting his experience, offering a glimpse into both the procedure and his motivations.
The video showcases Kapoor before and after the transplant, highlighting the visible improvement in hair density. Addressing his viewers directly, Kapoor said, “My head will be covered, it will be filled with hair, new hair will grow – wow!” With humor and transparency, he explains the process and his hopes for the outcome: “So far, the experience has been good. Now let’s see how much these hairs they’ve put on my head help me become a better-looking person!”
Beyond the personal aspect, Kapoor’s video also serves as an advertisement for the Hyderabad hair transplant clinic where he underwent the procedure. “Now he is looking like Anil kapoor,” wrote an Instagram user in the comments section while another added, “Hahaha he is cute and funny.”

On the professional front, Kapoor ventured into acting with Luv Ranjan’s last year’s Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor. Despite limited screen time, his performance as Ranbir’s father was well-received. Speaking of his production ventures, his last film was Ajith Kumar starrer Thunivu. He has a couple of projects in his kitty, including Maidaan, starring Ajay Devgn.
