Bold and the Beautiful has Eric Forrester changed, a huge twist for Sheila Carter and Deacon Sharpe, along with RJ and Poppy Nozawa, and a few others facing the unexpected as the new year gets underway for the CBS soap. So, what can the viewers expect? It looks like the soap teases a lot of twists and turns as it starts to focus on a new generation of the soap’s characters.
Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Eric Forrester Rises Again Despite Soap’s New Direction
Eric Forrester (John McCook) survived his brush with death and while he’s back, B&B spoilers say he’s not the same. The latest spoilers have Bold and the Beautiful, focusing on a younger generation as the new year blooms. But Eric still shines through.
According to executive producer and head writer Bradley Bell, something changes for the Bold and the Beautiful patriarch. He’s aware of his good fortune, which also comes with a sense of joy. But Bell says, “This next chapter for Eric is one of complexity and introspection.”
This is Bold and the Beautiful, so this change can mean just about anything for Eric. We could watch a full-blown philanthropist emerge from that hospital bed. Maybe even his family going nuts over him giving away the family fortune.
Or Eric could now look at those glamorous ball gowns as superficial in a world of suffering and pain. So, maybe he demands Forrester Creations turn into a house of flannel pajamas. He may want to promote comfort instead of elegant gowns.
Who knows, maybe it now bothers him that all along he’s created attire that’s out of reach for the average woman. So he may find that comfy flannels are the way to go. But, whatever the soap has planned for Eric, it comes with a promise that he’s a much different guy after he surfaces from his illness.
B&B Spoilers: Sheila Carter and Deacon Sharpe Come Out of Left Field
Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) and Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) have been missing in action for a while. We know they are still together after Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) had lunch at Deacon’s restaurant. There, he told his son that Deacon and Sheila weren’t at the restaurant that day. So, it looks as if this Bold and the Beautiful pair is still together on their day off.
So far, Bold and the Beautiful hasn’t created anything earth-shattering for Sheila or Deacon recently. But according to Bell, that is about to change. He describes what’s next for this couple as “jaw-dropping” and something that the B&B fans will not see coming. So, they won’t expect what is about to happen to these two.
Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: RJ Forrester Finds Friction – Poppy Nozawa Mystery Revealed
RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) loves Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) and up to now, it’s been easy for both of them. Neither of them struggles with parents interfering, like the generation before them. Even Eric Forrester gives them his blessing.
But it looks like Zende Forrester (Delon de Metz) not only has one ax to grind with RJ, but two. He’s harboring jealousy over RJ’s climb up the ladder and he has an infatuation with Luna.
He’s become devious on Bold and the Beautiful. That, along with his newly developed flippant attitude, he has fans looking at him like a villain. Bell said there will be trouble for RJ Forrester as Zende continues his campaign against him.
Mysterious Sisters…
Then there’s that mystery between Luna’s mom, Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park), and her sister Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda). The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers indicate the audience finally gets some answers on that relationship.
But there’s an added character to the storyline of Poppy and Li. That’s none other than Bill Spencer (Don Diamont). Bell said he’s involved in this plot with the two sisters.
Maybe he did try to reach out to Poppy years back and Li stood in the way. After all, Li called her little sister some nasty words and insinuated that her younger sibling was a tramp. The direction that Bold and Beautiful is going about the Bill-Poppy relationship, it looks like he’s Luna’s father. Li’s a doctor, so maybe she ran Luna’s DNA as a baby, looking for a match.
Maybe Bill popped up and she kept it from her sister. Or it’s possible Poppy knew it all along and wanted to keep it from her sister. The canvas is wide open on this one, with just too many avenues to take when it comes to the spawning of Luna.
B&B Spoilers: Did Thomas Kill Emma Barber?
As far as the big question about Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) swirling around online, the answer can’t get much clearer. Did Thomas kill Emma Barber (Nia Sioux) or not? Well, the answer to that question is in the post below – “No.”
But still, Bold and the Beautiful makes this a storyline. But it’s an accident that happened years back. Although, it looks like they may use this to drive a wedge between Thomas and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle).

So, a surprise from Deacon Sharpe and Sheila Carter is on the way, along with a battle between two cousins. Then we have Eric Forrester as a changed man to look forward to.
Not to mention Thomas finding himself with the past biting him again. And finally, what is up with Li and Poppy, the sisters who are as different as night and day?
With all that said, it looks like Bold and the Beautiful goes into the new year with some changes on the horizon for the characters of the CBS soap.
