Filmmaker Amar Kaushik’s Bala completed four years yesterday as it had hit the theatres on November 8, 2019. The film told the sorry tale of a balding man named Bala, played by Ayushmann Khurrana, and the funny struggles he goes through. Yami Gautam Dhar played a social media sensation Pari, who marries Bala, without knowing that he is bald. But all hell breaks loose when Pari gets to know about Bala’s reality on their wedding night.
On the film’s fourth anniversary, Ayushmann took to Instagram and shared a video with scenes from the film. It also featured Yami Gautam and Bhumi Pednekar. Sharing the post, Ayushmann wrote in the caption, “Bala ko sweekar karne ke liye shukriya. Celebrating #4YearsOfBala.”

On the film front, Ayushmann was recently seen in Dream Girl 2, a film directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa and produced by Ektaa R Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor. The movie starred Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday in leading roles, with a supporting cast that included Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Asrani, Seema Pahwa, Vijay Raaz, Manjot Singh, Abhishek Banerjee, Ranjan Raj, Manoj Joshi, and Annu Kapoor. Dream Girl 2 hit theatres on August 25, 2023. Ayushmann has reportedly also signed Border 2 which is also said to star Sunny Deol and Ahan Shetty in pivotal roles but there hasn’t been an official confirmation on the same.
