Alia Bhatt, Rani Mukerji, Ajay Devgn, Kajol, Jaya Bachchan, Sharvari seek blessings during Durga Puja celebrations, watch videos

The city of Mumbai was awash with the vibrant colours and festive spirit of Durga Puja, and Bollywood celebrities were no exception. Several stars joined in the celebrations, offering prayers to the Goddess and immersing themselves in the cultural fervour. Ajay Devgn, Yug Devgan, Alia Bhatt – Shaheen Bhatt, Jaya Bachchan – Shweta Bachchan Nanda, Sharvari, Bhagyashree, Tanishaa Mukerji and Rhea Chakraborty were seen celebrating the festivities.

Alia Bhatt, accompanied by her sister Shaheen Bhatt, sought blessings from Maa Durga at the North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja pandal. Alia’s visit was particularly special as it coincided with the release of her film, Jigra. Dressed in a traditional sindoori red-colored organza saree, Alia Bhatt made a striking impression.

The saree was adorned with intricate gold sequin embellishments, zardozi work on the scalloped borders, and mirror work. She paired it with a silk blouse featuring a plunging sweetheart neckline and gold gota embroidery. Alia completed her look with a messy bun, subtle makeup, and traditional gold jewellery. Shaheen Bhatt, too, joined in the festivities, opting for a yellow heavily-embellished anarkali gown. Her ensemble was complemented by a chiffon dupatta and dainty gold accessories.
