Alia Bhatt posts photo of Raha messing with her birthday cake as she turns one

Alia Bhatt has always been a proud mother and she has always used every opportunity to shower love on her little one. On the other hand, Ranbir Kapoor too has often expressed his love and dedication as a father during his appearances. Recently, as the new parents celebrated the birthday of their daughter, the actress took to social media to share photos from the celebrations.

Alia Bhatt took to Instagram to share a series of photos and a video along with a heartfelt note dedicating the sweetest birthday wish to her daughter. One of the photos that garnered attention was the first one where the little hands of Raha are been adorably captured as she is seen messing with the cake. In another one, three hands feature where they are holding a flower and the final video features a music box playing some melodious tunes from La Vie En Rose by French musician Edith Piaf.

Along with the post, the actress also penned a heartfelt note saying, “Our joy, our life.. our light! it feels like just yesterday we were playing this song for you while you were in my tummy kicking away.. there’s nothing to say only that we’re blessed to have you in our lives.. you make everyday feel like a full creamy yummy delicious piece of cake Happy birthday baby tiger .. we love you more than love itself”.

The post also received a lot of love from industry insiders like Zoya Akhtar, Aditi Rao Hydari, Soha Ali Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Dia Mirza, Gauahar Khan, among others. In fact, Bipasha Basu also dropped a comment saying that the song is one of her daughter Devi’s favorites.

Alia Bhatt was last seen in Bollywood in the Karan Johar directorial Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani, which was a hit. The actress is currently busy with the film Jigra, which is expected to be directed by Vasan Bala.
