Besides being an actor and producer, Akshay Kumar is also a doting father to his son Aarav and daughter Nitara. Thus, the actor couldn’t resist expressing his emotions after reading cricketer Shikhar Dhawan’s heartfelt birthday post for his son Zoravar. For the unversed, Shikhar Dhawan has been going through a tough time off the field as he has not gotten a chance to meet his son in person for a year now.
On the occasion of his son’s birthday, Dhawan had written an emotional note on his social media handle. “For almost three months, I’ve been blocked from everywhere so Posting the same picture to wish you, my boy, a very Happy Birthday,” read an excerpt of his note. He further added, “Despite not seeing you, I write you messages almost every day, asking about your well-being and daily life, sharing what I’m doing and what’s new in my life.”

On Thursday evening, AK, who is a father of two, shared the same post on his Instagram story section and wrote, “Really moved to see this post. As a father, I know that nothing is more painful than not being able to see or meet your child. Hausla rakh Shikhar…Millions of us are praying for you to meet your son soon. God bless.”
For the unversed, in October this year, a Delhi court granted divorce to Shikhar Dhawan on grounds of “cruelty” inflicted by his estranged wife Aesha Dhawan. Post the divorce, Aesha moved to Australia. However, the court ordered her to bring their son to India for visitation purposes including overnight stays with Dhawan and his family and during the school holidays.
