Producer Raaj Shaandilyaa and his partner Vimal Lahoti’s first OTT web series ‘The Great Weddings of Munnes’ had made an official entry to the Filmfare OTT Awards, 2023 and now has secured an accolade at the Filmfare OTT Awards.
The three categories the web series was nominated for were: Best Comedy (series), Best Supporting Actress Comedy series- Sunita Rajwar and Best Actor series (Comedy)- Abhishek Banerjee. The Filmfare Award for Best Actor (Male) Comedy goes to Abhishek Banerjee. The story of ‘ The Great Weddings of Munnes’ revolved around Munnes (Abhishek Banerjee), a middle-class working man who was having difficulty in searching for a spouse for himself.
Today, finally Munnes has possessed his ‘Black Lady’. This web series gained a lot of popularity amongst the audience. Every episode seemed to be quite amusing. It’s a proud moment for the producer Raaj Shaandilyaa, his partner Vimal Lahoti and the entire team. The diligence of the entire team has been acknowledged.
