The new franchise of Carry on Jatta, Carry On Jattiye, went on the floor in London last week. Amid this, it is announced that the forthcoming will is all set for the July 26 release next year.
The film directed by Smeep Kang, and produced by Gippy Grewal, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Ravneet Kaur Grewal, Abhishek Pathak, Vinod Aswal and Divay Dhamija stars Gippy Grewal, Sargun Mehta, Jasmin Bhasin, Sunil Grover, Jaswinder Bhalla, Nasir Chinyoti, Nirmal Rishi and Rupinder Rupi.
Carry on Jatta 3 released in June this year was the first Punjabi film to cross 100 crores at the box office.
Earlier, while talking about the upcoming flick, Gippy said, “Carry On Jattiye as the name suggests will have a female protagonist in the titular character. It is a wonderful story and we hope to make a film as funny and entertaining as the previous franchise.”
Carry on Jattiye produced by Gippy Grewal’s humble Motion Pictures and Panorama Studios, began its shoot in London today. As the title suggests, the film is a spin-off where the female character plays the lead.
