Love After Lockup couple Melissa Picariello and Louie Fojut‘s relationship hits a snag during their first-ever date night. So he plans what he thinks is a perfect romantic night for them. But things go south quickly when someone else pays too much attention to the former inmate.
Love After Lockup: Melissa Picariello’s Dream Date with Louie Fojut Is a Fail
Melissa waited decades to be Love After Lockup inmate Louie’s girlfriend. She finally has the man of her dreams. So, she is not about to let anyone or anything come between them. But since their relationship differs from most couples, they seem to be doing things out of order.
During Louie’s first night of freedom, the couple was forced to sneak out of his mother, Donna Fojut’s house and go to a hotel. Their first night together didn’t go as she had hoped. She was looking forward to romance and fireworks. Instead, she said because they were both nervous, it felt rushed and awkward, and she got her monthly visitor.
So they decide to try things again. This time, he wants to plan a proper date night. He wants to romance her and sweep her off her feet. So, he arranges for them to take a ballroom dance lesson. They put on their best clothes, and of course, the New Jersey native of Love After Lockup equates the date to what it would have been like if they had gone to prom together.
Louie’s mom is also there. She adds her two cents and tells her son’s girlfriend she remembers when he went to the prom and who he went with. She tells her he went to the prom with Kelly (the most popular girl in high school.) It is evident that Donna wants to put a damper on their night, but things get even worse.
Louie Shrugs off WEtv Girlfriend’s Jealous Attitude
The Love After Lockup pair finally gets out the door and away from his mom. During their drive, Melissa Picariello attempts to talk to her boyfriend. But he is on his phone. This annoys her, and she tells him to put the phone away. She thinks he is texting someone. He tries to explain that he is looking up the address of the studio. But she doesn’t seem to believe him entirely. He gets defensive and tells her she can go through his phone.
They arrive at the studio. Their instructor greets the couple. Melissa is on high alert immediately. She doesn’t like that this is not a dance class. But instead, private lessons with a pretty twenty-year-old teacher named Rebekah. The instructor tells them she will teach them a sexy rumba dance.

Rebekah starts the lesson by taking Louie in her arms. Melissa is immediately jealous. She is hating every second of this. When it is her turn to dance with him, she feels the dance instructor is critical of her. Next, the teacher goes back to dance with Melissa’s Love After Lockup partner.
She becomes furious. She is over it and feels like the dancer is getting too friendly with him for her liking. He is enjoying every moment of this. She feels like he is inviting this girl’s attention. He knows his WEtv partner is angry, but he is having fun and shrugs it off.
Love After Lockup: Melissa’s Suspicious Nature Takes Over
Melissa Picariello is furious, and when they leave, she and Louie Fojut get into an argument. He tells her she is being silly. She appreciates the thought but feels the instructor was a “thirsty b**ch.” Then, he makes a colossal mistake. He attempts to defend the dance instructor and tells her that he is sure Rebekah could get any guy she wants.
The Love After Lockup former inmate knows he is in hot water. Now, his girlfriend is giving him the third degree. No matter what he says, he knows there is no getting out of this mess tonight. Now she turns cold towards him. She tells him she will go to bed when they return to the hotel. She also tells him she doesn’t give a f**k what he does.
Louie knows he is in serious trouble. So, he tells her he will go work out at the gym. She continues to ignore him. Once he leaves, her suspicious nature takes over, and her thoughts run rampant.
Melissa Picariello is now questioning everything about Louie Fojut. She wonders if her Love After Lockup high school crush is still the same player he always was. Two nights together, and it is two huge fails. She is starting to worry. So far, things are not looking too good.
