The 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way reality star wanted to learn about the wedding rituals and culture. She didn’t want to just go through the motions. If it is important to TJ, then is it important to her too. However, he wasn’t there to help her or explain to her what was going on.
However, everything turned around when Kimberly was sitting beside TJ Goswami. She was happy he was there to explain what was going on during the ritual and what she would have to do. The TLC star felt she was in a better headspace. She went through all the traditional Indian wedding ceremonies. But there was one thing about Western weddings that she wanted to include in her special day.
Kimberly Requests Father Walk Her Down the Aisle
Kimberly is ready to marry TJ. The moment is finally here, and she can’t wait. She is also happy with how her wedding day look turned out. She reveals that her wedding ceremony dress is her favorite out of all the six dresses she wore throughout the wedding festivities.
The 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way cast member went with having a traditional Indian wedding. And that meant having back-to-back days full of ceremonies, rituals, and parties. However, there was one Western tradition that she wanted to have on her wedding day.
Kimberly tells TJ’s family that her father, Curtis, should be the only person beside her walking down the aisle. However, she explains that traditionally, in India, the bride’s brothers and sisters would walk her down the aisle. But the one thing she wanted was for her father to walk her down the aisle.
The TLC celeb explains that her father is her “biggest supporter.” It is also the Western tradition that she wanted “to hold true.”

Kimberly Rochelle’s dad did get to walk her down the aisle. But he wasn’t the only one. She explains that she thought it would only be her and her father walking to the stage. She didn’t know there would be over ten people walking with them.
The 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way castmate explains that her stepmother, Lisa, eventually got pushed to the back for a while. She wasn’t happy about that. She says that it hurt her feelings.
However, Kimberly eventually sees TJ Goswami on the stage, and it reminds her that he is the reason she is doing everything. She says, “he’s everything,” and she loves him.
