On 90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days, Meisha Johnson finally meets Nicola Kanaan‘s family but the welcome is lukewarm. Jasmine Pineda crushes Gino Palazzolo‘s dream of having a baby. Riley and Violet fight some more in spite of a trip to a temple. Cleo cries when it’s revealed she and Christian don’t match up according to the stars. Dempsey Wilkinson let’s Statler Riley down easy. And Sheila Mangubat pushes for David Dangerfield and her son to bond. Let’s break it all down in this recap of Season 6, Episode 12 Field of Dreams.

90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days: Meisha Johnson Can’t Catch a Fish or a Break

On 90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days, Meisha Johnson agrees to go fishing with Nicola Kanaan. He gets impatient with her and she mocks fishing as not that serious. She ends up taking a tumble into the sea and ends up with a bloody leg. Nicola wants to tend to the wounds, but she wants to soldier on. Meisha, Meisha, Meisha.

Nicola has managed to never mention to them that he’s been speaking to a hot divorcee former news woman with two children for 7 years. He fears this type of news could upset the balance he shares with his mother Nadia who he lives with. He’s blunt with Meisha Johnson. He says his family won’t like her because of all of the above. Meisha says she’s not going to hide who she is.

The 90 Day Fiance couple get ready to head to the meet and greet. Nicola paces and helps her pick out a churchy outfit. Meisha Johnson brings flowers and Lindor Chocolates. Mom Nadia is polite but quickly excuses herself to roll grape leaves. Food is served and the brothers want to know her deal. Meisha wants Nicola to explain. But he just wants to disappear.

Jasmine Pineda Isn’t Sure about a Baby with Gino Palazzolo

On 90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days, Jasmine Pineda unpacks and raves about Gino Palazzolo’s newfound success in the bedroom. He’s been crossing the finish line regularly. And she waves around his little stash of blue pills suggesting they work well. Next the king and queen of TLC cringe take turns trimming each other’s nose hairs.

Later the pair kick around Panama and Jasmine does cosplay as My Little Pony. Gino Palazzolo asks if she could be pregnant since they haven’t been careful lately. Jasmine suggests they have a little chat. And drops the bomb that she really isn’t sure if she’s up to the task of raising little Ginos and Jasmines. He can’t understand why she didn’t bring this up before. She turns it around saying she’s not enough for him.

90 Day Fiance: Riley and Violet Fight Some More

Riley isn’t giving up on Violet as his Vietnam trip comes to a close. He unblocks her and asks her to meet him. Violet agrees but admits this will be Riley’s last chance after the debacle at dinner with his friend Tiffanie. He promises to protect her moving forward. She blames their language barrier, and they agree to try again.

Violet wants to take him to the Buddhist temple on 90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days. He irons his traditional ao dai and steps out looking sharp. It’s a good day at the temple and Violet hopes it will bring them peace. For their next activity they decide to fly kites. It’s all good for a while but Violet starts grilling him about his bank accounts.

She wants to know the balances and if it’s enough to support her and her daughters. Riley is annoyed but admits to having around 100 grand socked away. He says he makes broke look good. Violet wants to know if this is a lot of money in America. He admits it’s not and then asks if she regrets texting bad things about him to his dad. She says no, So much for peace.

It’s Not in the Stars for Christian and Cleo

Things are still awkward for 90 Day Fiance couple Christian and Cleo. After hooking up, each offered up a different version of events. And they had a fight that ended with Cleo in tears. But they kissed and made up and now Cleo wants to take things to the next level. By visiting a couple’s astrologer. Christian thinks it’s all a bunch of mumbo jumbo.

Things start off ok with the soothsayer suggesting they are strongly drawn to each other. But something else looms in their astral future. And suggests they may not make it for the long haul. This reduces Cleo to tears immediately. Christian just sort of shrugs. After all he’s a Gemini.

90 Day Fiance: Statler Riley Fears She Ruined Things

Statler Riley wakes up alone on the sofa in the caravan. She took things too far too fast with Dempsey Wilkinson when she mentioned her lease was up soon and she was ready to move in. She also let it casually slip that she had been chatting with her ex and that the ex even suggested picking her up at the airport.

Dempsey Wilkinson returns from a long day on the farm and finds Statler acting sheepish. The talk and Dempsey lays out the reasons that rushing to live together probably isn’t a good thing. Statler makes a meek case, but it doesn’t work. So, they hug and decide to slow their roll. But Dempsey says Statler can come back to the bed.

David Dangerfield Steps up for Sheila Mangubat

90 Day Fiance couple Sheila Mangubat and David Dangerfield face plenty of challenges. First is their communication barrier. And then there is Sheila’s moms tragic and unexpected death. They head to the sea with her son Jhonreil and interpreter Aimee. Sheila expresses that she wants David to interact and bond with her son.

Of course, David has to ask the questions through Aimee.  After some small talk about sports David just tries to goof around with him. And continues having fun with him at the beach. Later they discuss moving to America. He doesn’t want to. But David Dangerfield and Sheila Mangubat hope they can change his mind. Till next time!
