90 Day Fiance: Shekinah Garner Gets Set Up on Millionaire Matchmaker
Shekinah Garner grew up in the Amish community. She explains that her upbringing was filled with going to church and being home-schooled. She also had no plumbing or electricity in her house. However, she left when she was 17 years old. Yet, she wasn’t the only one in her family that eventually ditched the strict lifestyle. Her family also left. So she was able to keep in contact with them.
Before joining the cast of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, she was on another reality television show called Millionaire Matchmaker. The premise of the show is Patti Stanger sets up wealthy clients with potential matches. The show made its reality television debut in 2008 and had several seasons.

Patti thought that Shekinah was the perfect match for her rich client. She felt that she was Amish, which she thought made her wholesome. She also thought the TLC star was “drop-dead smoking gorgeous.” So, she invited her to the mixer.
Shekinah Finds Success on Show
Shekinah does well on the show. She was picked to go out on a date with the wealthy bachelor, Adam. For their first date, they made something for her daughter, Sophia. She thought it was sweet of him to want to do something for her daughter. She felt that he could’ve picked anything else.
The 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way reality star opened up to her date about being a single mother. She revealed that some people aren’t into dating someone with a child. However, it didn’t matter to Adam. He was even excited to meet her daughter.
During Shekinah’s second date with Adam, she spoke about her relationship with the father of her daughter. The TLC celeb met him working at a restaurant that turned out to be his. She revealed that he was 27 years older than her. She admitted that age was never a factor in a relationship for her. It was more about a connection than age.
After a few dates, the TLC star continued to date Adam. And they even made music together. However, with her return to reality television, it’s clear that they didn’t work out.
90 Day Fiance: The Other Way Celeb Returns to TV
Shekinah Garner made a return to the reality television world when she joined the cast of The Other Way. Once again, she was back on television to find love. However, she had found love with a man from a different country this time. She left her life in America to be with Sarper Guven in Turkey.
The 90 Day Fiance cast member revealed on the reunion show that her relationship with Sarper is the best she’s ever been in. So, Shekinah’s search for love on reality television seems to be over.
