Manuel Velas is angry after learning that Ashley Michelle has $100,000 in student debt. He doesn’t understand how she can spend money on other things when she owes so much. He feels they need to think about their future and pay back the money.
However, the 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After cast member explains to her husband that student loans are common in America. She adds that student loans don’t function the same way credit card debt or medical debts do.
However, Manuel feels like Ashley doesn’t care. He thinks she is irresponsible. He believes that when he came to New York, she should’ve told him everything happening in the household. However, she feels that she did tell him about her debt, and he must’ve forgotten.
The TLC star tells his wife that he must have suffered from amnesia then. He asks her if she is a doctor now instead of a witch and if she went to med school and he also didn’t know about it.
