Recently, on Y&R, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) got dumped by Sharon Newman (Sharon Case). She had a wacky dream in which she faced her past about her ex, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).

And in her dream, everyone in her life seems to be pushing her toward Nick. However, he burned her several times in the past, so if she were to give him another chance, he would have to work hard to earn her trust.

Regardless of her future with Nick, Sharon felt that she needed to end things with Chance on Young and the Restless. She does not want anything serious right now, but he does. So, she’s trying not to hold him back.

Plus in the dream, Chance was engaged to Summer Newman (Allison Lanier). If he can be with someone who is looking for love, Sharon’s trying to make sure he won’t miss out on it.

So, she broke up with him. Of course, Chance is bummed because he was developing deep feelings for Sharon. But this is the opening Summer needs. And she’s ready to tell him how she feels on Young and the Restless.

Summer Newman Goes after What She Wants on Y&R

This week, on Young and the Restless, Summer surprises Chance. Recently, she found him drinking at Society and could tell that he wasn’t himself. At first, he didn’t want to talk, but Summer suggested they get lunch.

So, he may open up to her and tell her that he and Sharon are over. And the surprise Summer gives him may be that she admits to having feelings for him.

The level-headed ex-cop likely won’t want to rush into anything so soon after his split from Sharon. But, there is clearly a connection between him and Summer. So, this could be the first step to a romance for Summer and Chance.

Hot New Couple Emerges on Young and the Restless?

Y&R spoilers suggest it won’t be long until Chance and Summer are an item. Indeed, it appears that his break-up will open the door for Summer to pursue Chance. And also, to pave the way for Sharon to go back to Nick.

Plus, the Summer actress recently confirmed that her character will go after Chance. Once she finds out he’s single, it’s game-on and there will be nothing stopping her. So, she will likely make a move on him on Young and the Restless.
