Young and the Restless comings and goings have exciting news that involves Adam Newman actor Mark Grossman and a family member.

Y&R comings and goings confirm Mark Grossman, the actor who brings Adam Newman to life, recently had a special treat. His mom, Patricia Grossman, came to visit him on the Young and Restless set, and she wound up landing a role as an extra.
She shares scenes at Crimson Lights with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian). Indeed, it’s very sweet that she showed up to visit her son, and they gave her some scenes.
So, we can expect Mark Grossman’s mom to appear on the October 24th episode of Young and the Restless. Surely, that must have been a blast for the Adam actor and his mama.
Young and the Restless casting updates also tell us Haley Erin, who used to play Abby Newman (now Melissa Ordway), returns soon in a brand new role. Haley is coming back on the scene as Claire Grace, the newest hire at Newman Enterprises.
Haley loves that she’s playing a sharp business woman which is different from the other roles she’s played in the past. General Hospital fans will recall that she played Kiki Jerome until her tragic murder.
Now, she’s part of the corporate world on Young and the Restless. And she gets to work alongside Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and his family. There’s a ton of drama in the Newman family right now, and Claire may have her work cut out for her.
Also, Danny is back on Y&R this week. Soon, he surprises Phyllis. Indeed, Red is in over her head again because of Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John). And soon, she’s in need of a friend. No doubt it looks like Danny will be the one to help her, and he’s sticking around for longer than usual.
In addition, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) won’t be around because her portrayer, Eileen Davidson, is taking a break to focus on her family. However, She is welcome back whenever she’s ready, and we hope to see her on-screen again soon.
