Yodha Box Office: Sidharth Malhotra starrer shows good growth on Saturday, needs to keep the momentum going

With the makers getting into action right away and announcing BOGO offer for Yodha during the weekend, there was good push in footfalls that came in. One may always challenge the pros and cons of offers like these, but the fact remains that if there is an audience that is established due to a movie like this, and the positive word of mouth actually gets generated then it’s all worth it at the end of the day. It’s always the makers prerogative on how they want to pitch their film to the audiences and ensure longevity, and BOGO is a tool that helps facilitate that.

This was pretty much seen on Saturday when Yodha saw a jump from Friday numbers of Rs. 4.25 crores and ended up collecting Rs. 6.01 crores. This is the kind of Saturday push that the film required as well and thankfully it has come even if there is an offer in the running. The good thing is that the word of mouth is decent to good around the film and when something like that happens then there is always a chance of sustenance. This happened with Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya a month back and now the team of Yodha would be expecting something similar in days to come.

The Sidharth Malhotra starrer has collected Rs. 10.26 crores so far and everyone associated with the film would be expecting further jump in numbers today. The idea would be to get as much closer to the Rs. 18 crores mark as possible by the close of first weekend and then expect good holds to come from Monday onwards so that the first week closes around the Rs. 30 crores mark.
