Sparking much excitement, the trailer of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 was unveiled earlier this week that not only features Kartik Aaryan reprising his character of Rooh Baba but will also mark the return of the OG Manjulika, played by Vidya Balan. Readers may recall that the actress reprised this role 17 years ago in the first film of the horror comedy franchise, which featured Akshay Kumar and Shiny Ahuja in lead roles. As she returns to this iconic character, Balan took to the social media platform to express her gratitude in a quirky video.
The extensive fan following of Vidya Balan are aware of the hilarious content the actress likes to share with her social media fam. Keeping up with the spooky theme of the film, Vidya shared a video of her holding a skeleton face with her famous song ‘Ami Je Tomar’ playing in the background. The video was captioned with the lines, “Gade murde ukadne ka waqt aa gaya hai phir se… 17 saal baad… aa rahi hoon main… aamhi Manjulika!!! (It is time to dig the grave once again…. 17 Years later… I am back… I am Manjulika!!!).”
Furthermore, the actress also captioned the video saying, “Bhool Bhulaiyaa released on 12th October 2007 and who knew that 17 years later it would be the gift that keeps on giving…that I’d still be called Monjulika wherever I go… and that all these years later, I’d get a chance to reprise the role that has given me so much!” “Thank you Monjulika Thank you Bhool Bhulaiyaa and Thank you all for all your love, today and everyday” she added.

For the unversed, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is expected to release during the occasion of Diwali which falls around the time of Halloween this year. The film, that also stars Madhuri Dixit as Manjulika along with Triptii Dimri as the leading lady and a host of other actors in supporting characters, will be hitting cinemas on November 1.
