Vidya Balan and her Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 co-star Rajesh Sharma come together for a beautiful Bengali poetry recitation

Vidya Balan, who is basking in the success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, has always confessed her love for Bengali Cinema and culture. Taking her love for the language, the actress learnt one of the most popular works of poet Sukumar Ray, years ago and now, 7 years later, she attempted to give it a go once again on social media. On Tuesday, the actress shared a video on her social media where she is seen reciting a very popular Bengali poem ‘Shupatho’, penned by Satyajit Ray’s father Sukumar Ray, with her Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 co-actor Rajesh Sharma.

Vidya Balan recited the verse of the Bengali poem which was taught to her by Rajesh Sharma on the sets of one of their films together. Sharing the video, Vidya captioned, “In between scenes, on a night shoot for BB3, I attempt remembering the 1st #aaboltaabol I learnt from my dear co-actor bondhu #RajeshSharma 7 years ago on another set.” The actor received much appreciation from Sharma for reminiscing the words almost accurately along with many other fans who applauded the actress’ memory. Shilpa Shetty and singer Ila Arun dropped clap emojis to showcase their appreciation whereas actress Supriya Shukla who has worked with the duo in Parineeta said, “You both together <3.. Reminding me of Parineeta Days… <3 <3 sending u both lots of love <3”.

On the work front, Vidya Balan has been winning hearts as she marked the return as Manjulika in the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise. The third instalment of this horror comedy, which released during Diwali, has been receiving rave reviews from audiences. Interestingly, it also features Rajesh Sharma in a key role. Meanwhile, the film stars Kartik Aaryan in the lead role of Rooh Baba along with Madhuri Dixit and Triptii Dimri in pivotal roles. Directed by Anees Bazmee, it is produced by T-Series.
