Vicky Kaushal opens up on his experience of working with Kiara Advani; says, ‘I think every film would be better with her’

Being one of the most versatile and loved actresses in Indian cinema, Kiara Advani has played co-star to several actors in her decade long career and one of them is Vicky Kaushal. The first time Kiara worked with Vicky was in Lust Stories (2018) where they played a married couple, and the duo reunited onscreen for Dharma Productions’ Govinda Naam Mera (2022), where Kaushal’s character has an extra-marital affair with Advani’s character.

Recently, while promoting his upcoming film Bad Newz, Vicky Kaushal talked highly about Kiara Advani and said, “Kiara is one of my favorite people in the industry. I love her as a human being, and I love her as an actor. We don’t speak and meet often, but I enjoyed working with her in Lust Stories, and I worked with her in Govinda Naam Mera.”

Concluding the same Vicky said, “The way I feel when I am working with her is different, where I feel there is so much ease, there is comfort between two of us and we feel like we’ve got each other’s back. There is so much I want to say about her, but I am feeling emotional, but back in my mind, every film I get, back of my mind I think Yaar ye Kiara Ke saaath hoti to maza aa jata (if it would have been with Kiara, it would have been fun). She is really gem of a person.”

The actor is currently gearing up for the release of Bad Newz, which is a spiritual sequel to the 2019 film Good Newwz which featured Kiara Advani as the leading lady along with Kareena Kapoor Khan and Akshay Kumar as well as Diljit Dosanjh playing leading men. Whereas, the said romantic comedy features Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk in lead roles along with Kaushal, and it is slated to release on July 19.
