Katrina Kaif and beauty blogger and entrepreneur Huda Kattan discussed, ‘In Conversation with Kay Beauty & Huda Kattan,’ prompting Vicky Kaushal to make a heartfelt comment that has now gone viral. Katrina captioned the teaser, “When Kay met Huda. From contouring conversations to highlight moments, the iconic Huda & I discuss our experiences as beauty founders, the pressure to conform to unreal beauty standards, the social media pressure cooker and authentic expression ……..who knew that Make up would be the best therapy session ever !!”
Katrina’s husband Vicky Kaushal commented, “Cutie!!! #KaymetKaushal… when?” He also included the kiss and pink heart emojis.
During the conversation, Katrina stated that she needed to remind herself every day to be kind to herself, just as her brand, Kay Beauty by Katrina, promotes with the slogan “It’s Kay to be You.” She believes this message is really essential. For example, when she talks to her husband or prepares for an event, she occasionally sighs about her appearance.

She said, “I’ll be complaining about something about my physical appearance or saying, ‘I am not happy with the way I am looking, and I’ve gained weight and I’m not comfortable’. And my husband will sit there and go ‘Aren’t you the one who keeps telling everyone It’s Kay to be You and it’s okay to be you however you are and just how you are’? And then I kind of look at him and I’ll be like, ‘Do you mind?’ But at the same time, it is that gentle reminder that ‘Hey, one second’. This is what this is about, and this is why I started this (brand), and I have to apply the same kindness to myself.”
Katrina has made a successful transition from acting to entrepreneurship. She launched her beauty brand, Kay Beauty by Katrina, in 2019, and it has since received multiple awards.
