Valentine’s Day Exclusive: Ankita Lokhande reacts to rumours about her relationship with husband Vicky Jain post Bigg Boss 17; says, “We know what we are for each other”

Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain were one couple inside the Bigg Boss 17 who were constantly in news for their showdowns and arguments. While many accused Ankita, fans of the actress blamed Jain for being an insensitive husband. Despite all the arguments, fights, and fan accusations, the couple has only emerged stronger. In a candid chat with Bollywood Hungama, Ankita confessed that not only did she overreact when she was inside the Bigg Boss house but also asserted that all is well between her and her Valentine now.

During this interview, Ankita Lokhande told Bollywood Hungama about how they decided to enter the show as fun. “Hum bahut khushi se gaye the yeh soch kar ki masti karke aajayenge. Honeymoon period ho jayega. Kayka honeymoon, humne itni ladaiyan ki (We went quite excitedly. We thought we can have some fun and it will be a good honeymoon. But what honeymoon! Instead, we ended up fighting so much)”. However, the actress believed that it was a good and learning experience for her and Vicky.

Addressing the extensive arguments and showdowns she had with Vicky during the show, Ankita also went on to confess that a lot of them were ‘unnecessary’. “Jab maine episodes dekha, mujhe aisa laga ki bechare ke galati bhi nahi thi. Main aise lad rahi hoon. Especially starting wale episodes mein (When I saw the episodes, I realized that in some instances it was not even his fault. I was just fighting, especially during the starting episodes)”.  The actress also mentioned about being possessive and how she had become over sensitized to situations after being locked up in the house for long. “You know woh ek koi chahiye rehta hai blame karne ke liye. Main vo karne lag gayi (You need that someone to blame for. I had started doing that),” she candidly confessed.

The actress also defended her husband asserting that he is a great husband and even opened up about the rumours doing the rounds. “I don’t feel upset. Yes, we have fought and people can have their own judgements about it. But we know our bond very well. We know what we are for each other. And that’s all matters,” Ankita told us and further clubbed her fingers signifying togetherness as she added, “We are like this and will always be like this”.
