McKayla Adkins welcomed viewers into her life as she became a teen parent. She has welcomed three children since appearing on the popular show about young mothers. Despite splitting from the father of her first two children, she did move on and find love again. She even eventually got married and had her third child.

The Unexpected former cast member no longer shares updates on her children with fans online. She feels that “the world is a scary place.” So, she is keeping them out of the spotlight.

But, McKayla still gives fans a glimpse into her life every now and again. She keeps a lot off of the internet. However, she recently let fans ask her questions about her life. And she revealed some exciting news.

McKayla Gives Update on New Nose

McKayla recently revealed that she got another nose job to revise the one she previously had done. She wasn’t happy with the appearance, so she decided to go under the knife to fix it. She is currently still recovering from the surgery. However, she spoke about the recovery process.

The Unexpected reality star explained that her first nose job took two weeks to heal with a cast on. However, the revision surgery took a week with only tape on her nose for 24 hours seven days a week. Now, she only has to wear tape when she goes to bed.

McKayla felt that healing wasn’t “horrible.” But she also didn’t find it “fun.” She doesn’t like the feeling of having something constantly on her face. However, she does seem happy with the results. So, hopefully, it will be the last nose job she gets.

Unexpected Celeb in School for Cosmetology

McKayla Adkins took a snapshot of herself standing in front of a mirror to show off her new nose. However, one fan couldn’t help but notice that she was wearing a hairstylist apron in the photo. The fan asked the TLC star if it was a “hair apron” and if she was a hairstylist.

The Unexpected former castmate revealed that it was a hairstylist apron. She said that she is currently in cosmetology school.

McKayla has never been afraid to try out different hairstyles with her hair. The TLC celeb has dyed her hair many different colors. She has even bleached her hair so much that her hair was severely damaged. She eventually had to buzz-cut her hair. So, hopefully, she can learn how to avoid that from happening to her again or to potential clients.

The TLC star was previously working as a bartender. She admitted that she never thought she would be working at a bar since she doesn’t like alcohol. So, it seems like she has found a new career path that involves hair dye instead.
